Wednesday's Cravings
Instead of giving you 5 different items I'm currently craving, this week I decided to do something a little different and do a splurge vs. save. I've been craving this necklace from J.Crew for quite some time, but couldn't take the plunge and spend $150 on it. Recently, I saw this necklace from Vestique which is a great alternative for only $30. In my opinion, they look almost identical...which means you know I bought the Vestique version already :)

I'm totally with you- the look identical. I always like finding good deals like this because I'm so not willing (or able) to spend $150 on a necklace!

I think the Vestique necklace is just as pretty, and probably MUCH cheaper. It's a great alternative! :)

ReplyDeleteAngela! I have an even better secret... go to ebay and type in "J Crew Necklace" and the one you love on the left is on there for $14 in a teal blue, and maybe even some other colors. TOTAL steal! :D I have ordered a few and they have come in looking good as new! Hope that helps you some! LOVE reading your blog and keeping up with what's going on over here! I'm cheap when it comes to costume jewelry, $150 seems crazy to me! (after a point, there's no difference in qualitly between a $30 necklace and those costume jewelry ones that cost hundreds, you really do end up just paying for the name, you can get semi-precious stones pretty cheap.) I would go with the green one, I love the bright color and that is right about an acceptable price point for me. :)
