Wednesday's Cravings

I've been wanting a pair of boyfriend jeans for quite some time now, but I can't find the perfect pair. I tried on a pair at Gap and Old Navy but unfortunately they didn't fit me quite right. So I need your help. If you have a pair of boyfriend jeans where did you get them? Do you know of any store that sells them in petite sizes? These jeans would be perfect as we get closer to fall but I don't want to spend a fortune!

I'm also in desperate need of some advice. I'm having a difficult time balancing work, life, and blogging. I work a lot and do all the posts for the week on Sundays, but it's difficult to read blogs and respond to comments during the week. I felt like such a bad blogger Monday since I only commented on a couple of blogs. How do you guys balance everything? Do you respond to all comments? Let me know if you have any tips!!

  1. I did the same as you...tried on at Old Navy and Gap but no such luck!

  2. Angela, I am also searching and cannot find the "one". I tried from ON and Gap and way too big on me. I tried AE and the huge too. No luck yet. I tried to sneek in some blogging time each day. Like a good hour if I can. Sometimes when it's slow at work I answer to comments.

  3. I have a pair of Yanuk boyfriend jeans that I bought YEARS ago, and haven't been able to find another perfect pair since (they're hanging on by a thread!)
I find it really difficult to get the blogging in during the week – sometimes I just sneak in a little commenting here and there when I'm taking a couple minutes to break from work, but it's hard!

  4. I swear by American Eagle pants and jeans.

I try slating some time every day for responding or commenting. During the school year, it's hard, but I give it my best shot.

  5. I haven't been able to find a pair that fits me quite right either... still on the hunt. And as for blogging - I'm still trying to find the balance between work, blogging and enjoying life! Blogging takes way more time than I ever thought it would. I like the idea of getting all posts ready on Sunday night, that would make my life so much easier. Then I could just take 30-60 min in the morning or evening to check on my fave bloggers and comment. All that to say, you're not the only one trying to figure it all out :)

  6. All the ones I find make me look like I should live in Munchkin Land. I think I am just too short to wear them! Let me know if you find some though, because I really love the trend!

As for blogging, I never get anything done other than during the week. I kinda forget about writing things all weekend, and then try to do it all during the weekdays. It is a struggle for me too, and I always feel like I am playing catch up. Don't worry. You are not alone!
    Happy Wednesday to you!!

  8. Balancing bloglife and life is definitely hard sometimes. I try to write the next day's post each night Sun-Thurs between dinner time and bed time. Realistically I end up with four posts a week on average. As for reading and commenting, I am fortunate to work a desk job. I usually read and comment while eating my breakfast for the first 30 minutes I'm at work. I don't take much of a lunch break, so I feel I can get away with that. On busy days at work it just doesn't happen, and I end up reading and commenting in the evening while working on my own blog.

  9. That's a great idea to have all your posts written on Sunday. I'm considering doing this as soon I'll have school/business aside from blogging to take care of, too. You can set a night during the week to engage with your readers (reply, comment, etc.) Also, I've been looking for a pair of boyfriend jeans for a while, too. Good luck! - Carla

  10. Thanks for dropping by my blog! I'll return the favor and follow you! I have boyfriend capris from AE and love them! Of course, they are almost down to my ankles, but that's probably because I'm only 5ft tall!

  11. That's so funny, on my drive to work this morning I was thinking about how I don't own a pair of boyfriend jeans! I'll let you know if I find anything. Blogging does take up a lot of time, you're not alone! :)

  13. Let me know when you find a cute pair...I have been looking too. Jeans are so hard for me to find...in any style. Maybe it's because I have NO booty! ;)
And you know I told you that you don't have to respond to every one, every day. Read the ones you love most and respond to ones that leave genuine comments...not ones that say "Follow for a follow."
Hang in there! You are doing GREAT!!

  16. I think blogging is SO time consuming and gets more so the more readers you gain. I think it's okay NOT to respond to every comment because you're only human. I used to respond to every comment, but I recently realized I just didn't have the time to respond to every one. I actually feel guilty not commenting on blogs and responding on comments this week which is pretty crazy because being in the hospital is a good excuse not to, right?! I haven't been able to read many blogs this week but I really wanted to comment on yours since time is something all bloggers struggle with!

  17. The Gap. And crazily enough, Eddie Bauer makes a great pair! There are a couple of different fits. One made my butt flat, but the other pair was awesome. They do stretch out about one size, so err to the smaller size.

  19. I have not been able to find a pair of boyfriend jeans yet either, but the search continues! I don't think you should worry too much about responding to every comment... blogging should be fun and there are only so many hours in a day!

  20. I've had the same problem finding a good, inexpensive pair of boyfriend jeans. Also, when it comes to blogging I don't respond to every comment. Right now since it's summer I have more time to spend on blogging but once school starts balance will become a huge issue for me too. Don't stress out about it too much; blogging is supposed to be fun. :)

  23. I saw some at Target. I actually bought a pair and I loved them, but returned them because I had it for 2 weeks and never wore them. I have this 2 week rule when it comes to shopping. If I don't wear it within 2 weeks of buying it, I probably don't love it enough to keep it. I keep thinking about them so maybe I'll go back. I mean it has been hot as hell here which is probably why I never wore them. Check them out... I think they were Mossimo.

  26. Those are so cute! They can be tricky to buy based on height. I don't own a pair for that reason HaHa!

  27. I definitely don't return all comments, since it can be pretty redundant. i've been a terrible blogger lately too, so i feel ya. it's hard to keep up sometimes, and i have a tiny blog! i don't know how you do it girl!
