New Hair, New Dress

I recently got a major hair cut, and I feel a little like Shirley Temple or Carrie Bradshaw. I haven't had hair this short since I graduated from college, but I'm loving it. I also recently picked up this dress from Clothes Hound which you might remember from this post. It's definitely the perfect dress for Valentine's Day which is right around the corner.

Red Pants, Two Ways

I had been searching for the perfect pair of red jeans for a while, and I found these at TJ Maxx. I love this color red because it isn't too bright and it goes with so many things. I've paired these jeans with a vest and cape coat which you might remember from my previous posts here and here.

Models for Charity 2nd Anniversary Fashion Show

This past Thursday I attended Models for Charity's Fashion show with my sister. Models for Charity is a group in Raleigh that raises money for different charities through modeling, and this fashion show in particular benefited Interact of Wake County. The fashion show featured beautiful clothing from boutiques such as Clothes Hound, Art of Style, Scout and Molly's, Whalebone, Haley's, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Wardrobbe. The fashion show was a lot of fun, and I'm glad that I could help out such a good cause by attending.

 

Weekend in D.C.

I recently went to Washington D.C. to visit with friends. I got to see my best friend who just moved to D.C., got to meet up with a friend who I haven't seen in over 2 years, and got to spend more time with my co-worker. We ate, drank, shopped, and saw all of the sights. It was so great to catch up with everyone and to have a girls weekend.
