Jersey
I was born in New Jersey and out of all my parents siblings we were one of the only ones to move away. Even though I've lived in North Carolina since I was 5 I've honestly always felt like I belong in New Jersey more so than North Carolina. It's always such a great feeling to go back and visit the Garden State and visit all of our family. We are all really close and have the best time when we are together! My cousin's bridal shower on Saturday was a blast and on Sunday we ventured to Red Bank, NJ which is where I was born. We went to a diner (a must), went shopping, walked along the water front, and ate pizza. It was perfect and I can't wait to go back in October!
Thanks for taking these pictures Liz!
And the winner of the Bright Lily giveaway is....

Guest Post: The Tiny Heart
Sharon is taking over my blog for me today! I absolutely love her and the fact that she is petite like me. She is so sweet and always looks amazing. Make sure you check out her blog and enter my giveaway if you haven't already!
Hi guys! I'm Sharon and I blog over at The Tiny Heart. I talk about petite fashion (I'm 4'10") and my life with my hubby and our two dogs, Oliver and Jinx.Today I'm showing you how to style one top, two different ways...
This sleeveless blouse from Old Navy is what we're working with. It comes in multiple colors AND score, it's on sale for $13.50! I seriously can't stop wearing it because it goes with everything.
Shorts-Target Kids (cute option), Bag-Coach (similar), Necklace-Castellammare Designs, Sandals-AE (similar)
This first outfit I wore to go to lunch and then shopping. I paired it with my printed shorts, flat sandals, and a crossbody bag (to keep my hands free for searching the racks!).
The second look is my night look...
Shorts-Rampage (similar), Clutch-Vintage, Heels-Andres Machado
For night, I changed into a fancier pair of shorts. I swapped out the sandals for heels and the crossbody bag for a clutch. Ta-da, instant glam!
Major thanks to Angela for letting me take over her blog today!
Come on over and say hi to me at The Tiny Heart!

Guest Post: Still Being [Molly]
Today the lovely Molly is guest posting for me while I'm in New Jersey visiting the fam! Molly is one of the nicest ladies I know and she has amazing style. I'm so happy she's taking over for me today! Also, don't forget to enter my giveaway if you haven't already.
You guys, I am SO EXCITED to be guest posting for Angela! This girl is amazing. Like, I've met her in person. We're REAL LIFE friends. And she is awesome. So, needless to say, I was honored when she asked me to come visit you guys today. Oh, I should probably introduce myself. My name is Molly. I blog over at still being [molly]. On my blog I talk about my faith, my love of Diet Coke, burritos, and fashion. I'm just a regular girl trying to figure it all out. You know, that old chestnut. [Also, I will let you know that there is nothing going on over my right shoulder that you can't see. I'm not keeping any secrets.]

Anywhos. I'm sharing with you one of my favorite casual outfits. I LURVE these jeans. The perfect blush pink color, the perfect amount of comfort, and just the perfect amount of awesome.

Also, this top. I got this top for $10 from Old Navy this spring, and it's the perfect piece that can go from spring to summer to fall. I can't wait to find ways to style it this fall. In addition, as you can tell from the photo above, there is something funny or whimsical that I seem to have taken a liking to on the ground. That explains the weird grin.

I have had these plaid flats for, what feels like, 20 years. Got some pattern mixing going on here. I am so now.

[Top: Old Navy, Jeans: Zara (similar), Necklace & Bracelets: Forever21, Shoes: DSW (old, similar here)]
Thank you SO MUCH to Angela for having me today. She is fabulous. But you're here, so that means you already knew that. Come stop by my corner of the interwebs sometime. all for now. :)

TriFABB Launch Party
A week ago I attended TriFABB's launch party at Fab'rik in Chapel Hill, NC. I had no idea there were so many bloggers in the Triangle area so it was amazing to meet these ladies! I was late because of work (womp womp) but I can't wait for the next meet up and to get to know these bloggers better.
I'm leaving for New Jersey tomorrow with my parents for my cousin's bridal shower. I'm going to experience what it's like to be an only child since both my sister and Robert have to work and won't be able to come. It should be interesting but I'm excited to spend some quality time with my parents and to see all my family in the Garden State! (Say a little prayer for me though since my Dad is a little crazy and loves to embarrass me whenever he can). Since I'll be in New Jersey, I have two lovely ladies guest posting for me on Monday and Tuesday. Make sure you check it out!
Have you met any bloggers in your area? Don't forget to enter my giveaway!!

Peachy Keen
Over the weekend my Mom and I visited a new boutique in Cary, NC called Peachy Keen. It's a family owned business that sells brands that I haven't seen in any other local boutiques. The clothing that they carry is very unique and has a vintage feel to it. Women of different sizes and ages are able to find something that fits them and their style, and is perfect for a mother and daughter shopping date like we had. My Mom and I both walked away with something on Saturday (she bought skinny jeans!!). If you're in the Triangle area you must check out this store! The ladies that work there couldn't be any nicer which is always refreshing.

Wedding Wear
On Saturday my co-worker Heidi got married. She looked absolutely stunning and she wore my wedding veil as her something borrowed. The reception was held on the 28th floor of the Wells Fargo building downtown. The view of Raleigh was perfect and the wedding was a lot of fun! Now I'm looking forward to my cousin's wedding in October!

Wednesday's Cravings
Here are the items I'm currently craving this week! Most of these beauties are from Dorothy Perkins which I heard about a while back. I've never purchased anything from there so I was wondering if anyone knows how the sizing runs? The dresses are insanely cheap and gorgeous!

Cargo Vest
I've been searching for a cargo vest for a while now and found the perfect one at Old Navy. I'm officially obsessed with it and have been wearing it on repeat. I also finally bought a faux J. Crew necklace from ebay. It took me long enough and now I want a bubble necklace in every color!
