Pumpkin Carving Party

This week Robert and I hosted a pumpkin carving party at our house. My whole family came over and we had such a good time! It’s always so much fun when we can all get together. Our life has been hectic lately to say the least, so the week leading up to the party I tried to do a little bit each day to prep for it. To clean for the party we used the Mr. Clean concentrated cleaner everywhere (walls, floors, counter tops, bathrooms, etc), and our house was shiny, spotless, and lemony fresh! After the cleaning I did a little decorating too with a fall table runner for the kitchen table, and this gorgeous pumpkin tureen.

For the party I made a few different fall recipes. We had caramel apples, honey roasted pumpkin seeds (so good!), apple cider ginger ale floats, and gluten free pumpkin chocolate chip muffins. All of these different recipes suited my sister’s dietary needs (gluten free) and also mine too (vegetarian). Sometimes we can be so tricky cook for, but the food was a hit!

After we did some snacking, it was time to carve some pumpkins! Luckily, the pumpkin carving kits included some templates. My parents carved a ghost, my sister and her boyfriend carved a traditional jack-o-lantern, and Robert and I carved a pumpkin trio. They turned out so great in the end, and now we all have a pumpkin to put outside for Halloween this weekend!

After the party was over, Robert and I teamed up and started cleaning again since I hate going to bed with a messy kitchen. Between the different recipes and the pumpkin carving it created quite the mess! We cleaned the floors, the kitchen table, and counter tops using the Mr. Clean concentrated cleaner again, and I really love only using one cleaner versus a bunch of different ones. Our house was clean in no time which I love! Mr. Clean was also kind enough to give treat bags to everyone that came to the party.

Mr. Clean is also kind enough to giveaway a prize pack to one lucky person! You will receive a pumpkin tureen just like the one pictured above, a holiday hosting tip sheet, fall recipes, pumpkin carving and decorating supplies, Mr. Clean concentrated cleaner, sponge, ice cream scoop, and candy apple sticks. It has everything you need for a fall party! Just enter below using the Rafflecopter. I will choose a winner on Saturday. Good luck!
