When it comes to holiday shopping, there are a few essentials that I bring with me when braving the crowds! After all the years of Black Friday shopping with my sister and Christmas Eve shopping with my Dad, there are a few things that I have to bring along with me in order to be comfortable:
1. A drink: Bringing my own drink along with me keeps me from purchasing an overpriced drink when I’m out and about,
which is definitely necessary during this time of year. Iced tea is a big part of life in the South, and Milo’s tea is the beverage that I like to bring with me! It has recently become a favorite of mine, and I love to bring it along in a festive cup (how cute is this snowflake mason jar?!). Milo’s tea is made with fresh and natural ingredients and it has a simple ingredient list. It is a family owned company and has been sold by thousands of retailers across the US since 1989. Their tea is available in sweetened with pure cane sugar, unsweetened, and no calorie varieties and I pick it up at my local Walmart. Right now you can buy 2 gallons of Milo’s Tea for just $5 on rollback while supplies last. Not only is it the perfect drink to bring along for holiday shopping, but it’s also my beverage of choice for holiday parties and Christmas lunch! Nothing is better than drinking a glass of iced tea while catching up with family members and friends during the holidays.
2. A cross body bag: In order to shop more efficiently, I need to make sure that my hands are free so that I can browse the racks! I always make sure that I bring a cross body bag instead one of my bigger shoulder bags that tend to be a little too heavy. This one is the perfect size and fits all my necessities!
3. Comfortable shoes: Comfortable shoes are a must, but I’m not much of a tennis shoe/sneaker kind of girl. Instead, I opt for these loafers which are so comfortable and festive with the gold fabric.
4. Layers: It can be chilly outside while a little warm in the store, so I like to wear a few different layers that I can easy take off if needed. My favorite layer combination to wear is a piko top with my military jacket and plaid blanket scarf.
