Holiday Shopping Essentials with Milo’s Tea

This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and Milo’s Tea, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #HolidaysWithMilos

When it comes to holiday shopping, there are a few essentials that I bring with me when braving the crowds! After all the years of Black Friday shopping with my sister and Christmas Eve shopping with my Dad, there are a few things that I have to bring along with me in order to be comfortable:

1. A drink: Bringing my own drink along with me keeps me from purchasing an overpriced drink when I’m out and about,
which is definitely necessary during this time of year. Iced tea is a big part of life in the South, and Milo’s tea is the beverage that I like to bring with me! It has recently become a favorite of mine, and I love to bring it along in a festive cup (how cute is this snowflake mason jar?!). Milo’s tea is made with fresh and natural ingredients and it has a simple ingredient list. It is a family owned company and has been sold by thousands of retailers across the US since 1989. Their tea is available in sweetened with pure cane sugar, unsweetened, and no calorie varieties and I pick it up at my local Walmart. Right now you can buy 2 gallons of Milo’s Tea for just $5 on rollback while supplies last. Not only is it the perfect drink to bring along for holiday shopping, but it’s also my beverage of choice for holiday parties and Christmas lunch! Nothing is better than drinking a glass of iced tea while catching up with family members and friends during the holidays.

2. A cross body bag: In order to shop more efficiently, I need to make sure that my hands are free so that I can browse the racks! I always make sure that I bring a cross body bag instead one of my bigger shoulder bags that tend to be a little too heavy. This one is the perfect size and fits all my necessities!

3. Comfortable shoes: Comfortable shoes are a must, but I’m not much of a tennis shoe/sneaker kind of girl. Instead, I opt for these loafers which are so comfortable and festive with the gold fabric.

4. Layers: It can be chilly outside while a little warm in the store, so I like to wear a few different layers that I can easy take off if needed. My favorite layer combination to wear is a piko top with my military jacket and plaid blanket scarf.

Love your fun blanket scarf with the utility jacket. I never thought to bring my own drink when shopping, but that is a good idea! My husband loved Milo's when we lived in the south.

Iced tea is one of my favorite drinks EVER! I drink it all year round because it's so yum! I've never tried that brand before though, so I'm curious. That tumbler is adorable!

So cute! I love that cup! And I have to dress in layers – the more I shop, the quicker the layers come off!

I've never tried Milos tea before, but I'll have to pick some up in a couple of weeks when I'm down in the south! My family LOVES crossing into the US because the Iced Tea is SO much better. We don't have the option of fresh brewed tea at most places (Starbucks is where I have to go). Even at Mc Donald's, the tea is better. We have this overly sweet, garbage and most Canadians don't actually know how good REAL iced tea is.

Wow, that got WAY too long!
