Last week I completed Flywheel’s 7 day challenge (you can read more about it here and here)! I mentioned before that I was really nervous when I started the challenge. I had never taken a Flywheel or Flybarre class before, so I wasn’t sure what I was getting myself into. In the end, Flybarre was definitely a lot harder than I thought it was going to be but I can see where you would get amazing results by regularly taking this class. It’s definitely a class that I’ve gotten better at the more that I’ve taken it, and I know that it would continue to get even better with time. It’s definitely worth all of the hard work and Brooks makes it a lot of fun! When it comes to Flywheel, I actually never took a spinning class before and to be 100% honest I wasn’t sure how it would be with my asthma (so nerdy, I know). Everything ended up being fine though, and now I’ve trying to convince my husband to take a class with me. I really love how upbeat and motivating the class is, and the fact that they incorporate arm exercises into a spin class. I’ve decided that going forward I’m going to take 1-2 Flywheel classes per week and hopefully I’ll sign up for a membership if I continue to love it. It’s funny that after taking 3 Flywheel and 2 Flybarre classes last week, I’ve been joking that I feel like I’m in withdrawal this week. I’m really missing these classes, but I’m taking one bright and early tomorrow morning!
There was also a clean eating meal plan that went along with the challenge. Since I started the 21 day fix back in January, I’ve been eating extremely well so this wasn’t a problem for me. I know the importance of eating clean and wholesome foods because of how amazing they make me feel. I’ve actually taken only a couple bites of dessert since January, and I don’t miss it at all. At the end of the challenge I also lost 2 pounds which is exciting! Lately I’ve been losing about 1 pound per week, so the extra pound was awesome. Overall, if you haven’t been to Flywheel before, I definitely suggest it!
Thank you to Flywheel for giving me the complimentary challenge package.
