I’ve often struggled with my skin, and as I approach a new decade I really want to get a handle on it and take better care of myself. I made a commitment to myself last year to get a better handle on my health, and this year I want to do the same but with my skin. My skin is oily, sensitive, acne prone, but the biggest problem that I struggle with (especially when the weather is cooler) is dry skin. It’s hard for me to find products that help with my dry skin, but that also doesn’t have a fragrance that would irritate me. I also want to make sure that I’m using quality products on myself each day. Here are my current favorite products that I use to start out each morning for soft skin:
- Cetaphil® Moisturizing Cream: This cream provides immediate and lasting hydration, which is exactly what my skin needs right now. It’s perfect to use on my hands, feet, elbows, knees and other areas that need a lot of moisturization. The first thing I do once I get out of the shower each morning is apply this cream because that’s when creams and moisturizers absorb the quickest on me. It’s non-greasy and soothes both my dry, itchy skin, and it’s perfect to use on my sensitive skin as well because it’s fragrance free, mild, and doesn’t cause any irritation.
- Cetaphil® Gentle Skin Cleanser: The second product I use is the gentle skin cleanser which is for both the face and body, and can be used on all skin types. It’s mild and non-irritating, and I wash my face with it each morning. It helps my skin retain moisture, and it leaves my face feeling really soft each day.
- Cetaphil® Daily Hydrating Face Lotion: The moisturizing cream is perfect to use on my body, but I use the daily hydrating lotion on my face each morning after using the gentle skin cleanser. This is the last product that I use and it’s for both dry and extra dry skin, and provides immediate and lasting hydration. It’s lightweight and oil free, which makes it the perfect lotion to use before I start applying my makeup each day.
I pick up all three of these products at my local Target. Target is my go to store for just about everything, and I’m usually there a couple of times a week. I always stop in for one or two things, but then will leave with a cart full of goodies. Does this happen to anyone else too?
