Meghan and I recently went out to lunch at Cantina 18 in Cameron Village, and I always love when we can get together so we can chat and relax! I’m a huge fan of all things Mexican food (which has also been one of my pregnancy cravings), and Cantina 18 has also been a favorite of mine since I was in college. One of the things that I really like about Cantina 18 is that they use locally sourced ingredients from North Carolina farms, and I was really excited to try out some of the new dishes on their menu with Meghan. We sipped on some fun mocktails that use fruit from local farms around NC including their seasonal bell pepper blueberry margarita, local blackberry white wine sangria, strawberry margarita, and skinny margarita. For lunch we started out with their queso with pineapple salsa which was to die for, and then we also had the new chickpea masala vegetarian tacos with southwestern slaw, and a ‘make your own salad’ where you can choose your greens, one protein, 4 toppings, and one of our house made dressings. Ours had adobo glazed salmon, goat cheese, corn, cherry tomatoes, black beans, with cilantro lime vinaigrette which was full of flavor. We absolutely loved everything that we sipped on and ate that day, and we can’t wait to go back again soon! Thanks to Jason (pictured below) and the Cantina 18 staff for treating us so well.
For lunch I wore my favorite black maternity dress that I paired with some fun accessories that I picked around Cameron Village. I’m really loving these fun silver bangles and white tassel earrings from Light Years Jewelry, and also these Prada sunglasses from My Eye Dr. This is definitely the perfect outfit to wear as we transition into Fall weather!
Thanks to Cameron Village for sponsoring this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
