Fall is definitely my favorite time of year when it comes to fashion! Give me all the cozy layers, boots, and leopard accessories please. I rounded up some of my fall wardrobe essentials that I think everyone should have in their closet (and you don’t have to spend a lot on them, either!):
I recently received this cardigan from J.Jill and it has quickly become a favorite of mine! I sized up so that it would have an oversized feel, and I love how warm and cozy it is. It’s perfect to layer over dresses, or wear with leggings and a pair of riding boots.
Last year I remember thinking that I couldn’t pull off over the knee boots because of my height, and I’m so glad that I gave them a try! I purchased these last year at Target, and luckily they have a similar pair this year which you can find here. I definitely suggest trying on a pair if you haven’t before!
A denim jacket is a wardrobe essential for me year round, but especially in the Fall! I love pairing it with a dress and ankle boots, or with a pair of black jeans. I purchased this one a while back, but you can find a similar one here.
Ankle boots are hands down my favorite pair of shoes to wear during the Fall! I’ve accumulated quite the collection, and I’m terrified that they my feet are going to grow during my pregnancy and I won’t be able to wear them anymore. Fingers crossed that my feet stay the same size! This pair is from last year, but I found a similar pair here.
I love a good Fall hat, especially with shorter hair. They are perfect to wear when I’m not having such a great hair day, and they add a fun element to any Fall outfit! Here’s a Fall hat that I would love to add to my wardrobe this year.
These are my favorite black jeans, and they are only $40! They are extremely comfortable and I really love the distressed detailing. They look great in the Fall with a pair of ankle boots and a denim jacket!
Blanket scarves are a must when it’s really cold outside! I really like that you can also tie them in a variety of ways, but if you’re curious on how to tie it like I did in the picture below you can check out my tutorial here.
I found these riding boots at a consignment store last year, and I couldn’t pass them up since they were brand new! I really love the different textures and the navy color, and they work perfectly with a pair of jeans, leggings, or with a dress. You can find a similar pair here.
