Items were gifted from Minted, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.
The holidays are officially here which is so exciting! This is my favorite time of year, but honestly it can be a little stressful at times. Between the decorating, baking, holiday parties, gift shopping, Christmas cards, and gift wrapping there’s a lot to get done with not a lot of time. This year our daughter will be arriving right before Christmas (hopefully) so I started my preparations for the holidays a lot earlier this year than I usually do. To help get everything done ahead of schedule, I turned to Minted for a lot of my holiday needs including my holiday cards and gift giving:
I’m usually down to the wire when it comes to holiday cards, but this year I’m way ahead of schedule! We took our maternity pictures at a local Christmas tree farm before Halloween, and decided that they would be the perfect pictures to include on our holiday cards. Once we had our pictures back from the photographer, I went onto Minted’s website to select our cards and I fell in love with these pictured below! They say ‘merry and oh so bright’ and the gold foil that’s included on the front adds such a fun touch. I really like the way they turned out, and I can’t wait to mail them out this week!
My favorite part about using Minted though, is the fact that they print the addresses on the envelopes for you. I did this with my baby shower invitations (you can see them here), which made putting together my holiday cards so much easier. Most of the addresses that I needed were already in my address book on Minted’s website because of the baby shower invitations, and any others that I needed to include I just added to my address book on Minted’s website. This made things so easy for me, and it saved so much time which is just what this mama-to-be needed!
Last year I also used a return address stamp on our holiday cards, but our stamp isn’t the most consistent. This year I also had our return address printed on all of the envelopes which was a big time saver as well. All I have to do this year is stuff each envelope with the card and add a stamp (although Minted can do that for you too). I’ll definitely be using Minted for our holiday cards from now on because of how much time they saved me, and also because of how gorgeous they look!
I’ve also been turning to Minted when it comes to gifts this year too. I really like to put a lot of thought into the gifts that I pick out for people, but sometimes it can be hard to find the perfect gift (especially for guys). My husband can be hard to be buy for in particular, but this year I found a couple of really fun ideas from Minted!
The first gift idea that I came across was this print of a heart that is made up of smaller pictures. I decided that this would be the perfect way to showcase a lot of our pictures from our two Europe pictures without taking up a lot of room in our house. All I had to do was upload the pictures, and then drag and drop where I wanted them to be placed. Once I had the layout just right, I selected a white frame for a crisp and clean look.
The second gift idea that I came across for my husband was this frame that has a space for three different pictures. We’ve been big on documenting this pregnancy since it’s our first, so I thought this print would be a great way to showcase an announcement picture, a gender reveal picture, and then a maternity shoot picture. Once again all I had to do was upload the picture, and drag and drop where I wanted them to be placed. I selected a white frame for this one as well so that it would go with the other picture really well when we hang them both in our bedroom.
These two frames are filled with a lot of amazing memories, and I know that my husband is going to love opening them on Christmas this year! I love that they are unique gifts, and they will bring back the amazing memories every time that we look at them.
Have you shopped at Minted before?
