This is the outfit that I wore on Thanksgiving Day! We stayed in town for the holiday for the first time since we’ve been married, and I was originally planning on wearing something a little dressier. Pregnancy has gotten the best of me lately though and I’ve been feeling the first trimester exhaustion all over again, so I decided that I needed to wear a really comfortable outfit to my parents house. This maternity lace trim hooded sweater from PinkBlush fit the bill perfectly for the occasion. The rust color, the lace trim, and the pockets make this the perfect cozy sweater for Fall that I know I’ll be wearing a lot on repeat. I paired it with my favorite maternity leggings for the perfect Thanksgiving Day outfit along with a pair of black riding boots. It’s also a great layering piece because it isn’t bulky, and I can see myself wearing it with a military inspired jacket and a pair of dark jeans too.
I know I’ve mentioned this before, but I also really like that this hooded sweater doesn’t look like a maternity sweater. Finding items that work during my pregnancy and also afterwards have been a priority for me lately now that my pregnancy is coming to an end which is so hard to believe. I’ve been adding more pieces like this to my wardrobe lately that I think will also be great to wear when I’m at home during my maternity leave for a few months. I’m trying to stock up on cozy pieces to wear while we adjust to newborn life around the holidays!
Do you have a hooded sweater that you love?
