Baby Wearing

This is the outfit that you can find me in most days recently! During maternity leave we have been adjusting to having a new member of our family, and taking care of a newborn baby girl which definitely has given me a laid back sense of style. I’m trying to soak in this time as best as I can because she will only be little for so long, and one thing that I absolutely love to do to help bond with her is baby wearing. I really like that it gives me a free set of hands to get things done around the house if needed, but it also brings us close together which I really like the most.

The way that I’ve been wearing her is with the Lalabu Soothe Shirt.  I’ve seen some other options such as wraps and carriers when doing some research, but I wanted something that was a little more simple. I’ve been turning to the Lalabu Soothe Shirt lately because it’s a babywearing shirt that I usually layer with a cardigan, that also has a built in nursing bra which is definitely an added bonus. My husband isn’t left out though, because he has the Lalabu Dad Shirt that gives him the same time to bond with baby Charlotte which he loves too. It’s a v-neck shirt which he likes with a cozy pouch that she loves, so it’s a win-win for both of them!
