Today I thought it would be fun to do a round-up of my 10 favorite restaurants in Raleigh! Raleigh has some amazing places to eat, and I always love trying out new restaurants that open in town. I have my list of favorites though depending on which meal it is, and today I thought it would be fun to share them with you:
Flying Biscuit: This is located in Cameron Village and it’s where my family always goes for breakfast on Christmas Eve. My favorite item on their menu is egg-ceptional eggs.
First Watch: There are a couple different First Watch locations in the area, and my husband and I are obsessed! Their pancakes are amazing, and I also love the market hash.
Big Ed’s: This is the place to go if you’re looking for a southern breakfast! They have the best grits, biscuits, and sweet tea in town and they are located in City Market downtown.
Taza Grill: Taza Grill also has a couple different locations in the area, it’s the perfect spot if you’re looking for quick Mediterranean food. My favorite thing on the menu is their hummus sandwich.
Armadillo Grill: This restaurant was our favorite spot in college! It’s really fast and really cheap Mexican food, and it is out of this world good. Their black bean tacos and chips and queso are my go to’s!
Gonza Tacos y Tequila: My husband and I could eat Mexican food for every meal. Gonza is one of our favorite places to go, and they have many locations throughout the triangle. I really love their vegetarian tacos!
Winston’s Grille: Winston’s is another one of my family’s favorite restaurants because it is able to meet the dietary needs of us all. I really love their salads, but the best part about going to Winston’s is their dessert! They have a gluten free chocolate dessert that is to die for.
Second Empire: This is where my husband and I go for special occasions. It’s a really nice restaurant in downtown Raleigh with the most delicious food and wine. They have the main restaurant upstairs, or you can sit at the tavern downstairs which is what we usually do. It’s a little more laid back than sitting upstairs which we like, and I usually get the risotto.
Sitti: Sitti is in the heart of downtown Raleigh with the best Mediterranean food! I really love ordering a bunch of their small plates and sharing with my husband, or I’ll get the vegetarian sampler.
If you live in Raleigh, what’s your favorite restaurant?
