I am 7 weeks postpartum today, which is a little hard to believe! I shared my pregnancy essentials for the first, second, and third trimester and I thought it would be fun to share my postpartum essentials for the ‘fourth trimester.’ Here is my very honest list of my essentials for my postpartum body:
I’ve been spending a lot of time at home because Charlotte is still so young, and flu season is so bad this year. I’m trying my best to avoid both her and I getting the flu, so we’re spending time a lot of time snuggling and watching Netflix. Even though I’m at home, I do make an effort everyday to shower (if she lets me), put on a tiny bit of makeup, and change out of my pajamas. I don’t want to wear jeans or anything like that since I’m just hanging around the house (and jeans are super uncomfortable after a c-section), so I picked up a few pieces of loungewear at Aerie and Gap online (I picked up this, this, and this).

I picked up a few nursing bras before I had Charlotte, but to be honest they aren’t my favorite. To be completely honest, it was a little shocking to look at myself in the mirror after having Charlotte and it’s been an adjustment to get used to my postpartum body.
