3 Day Refresh

3 Day Refresh-@headtotoechic-Head to Toe Chic

If you follow me on Instagram (@akeeleywhite), you might have seen that I completed Beachbody’s 3 Day Refresh! Today I wanted to share the details of what was involved and how I felt afterwards. Also just a site note, my husband and one of my friends did it with me and I definitely think it helps to do it with someone else to have a support system.

What I ate:

Breakfast: Chocolate vegan shakeology blended with water and 1/2 banana

Morning snack: Fiber sweep shake mixed with water

Lunch: Spinach salad with peppers, cucumbers, carrots, and avocado. Also, vanilla fresh shake blended with water, and strawberries on the side.

Afternoon snack: Carrots and hummus

Dinner: Vegetable soup (vegetable broth, kale, onion, carrot, celery, green beans, and zucchini). Also, vanilla fresh shake blended with water.

What I drank:

I just stuck to tea and water. I would drink green tea in the morning and mid-morning, and have caffeine free tea after dinner. It’s also important to drink plenty of water throughout the day.

Exercise:

Each night after dinner I would go on a walk with my family. With not consuming as many calories each day, I didn’t want to do anything that was too intense.

How I felt:

At the end of the 3 days, I honestly felt amazing (a little hungry, but amazing). The bloat in my stomach was completely gone, I felt less tired, and I was down 3 pounds. I would definitely do this again, and I think it’s a great way to get back on track with healthy eating and also a great way to lose a few pounds before an event.
