Peplum and Mint

I wore this outfit on my birthday and it combines two of my favorite trends for spring, mint and peplum. I had been searching for afffordable mint jeans everywhere, and I scored this pair at Kohl’s for $30! It was definitely a great deal. My cap toe obsession also continues with this outfit, I seriously can’t stop buying them.

Shirt: H&M (similar)

Jeans: Kohl’s (love these too)

Shoes: Kohl’s (similar too)

Necklace: Vestique (different color)

Watch: Michael Kors

Bracelet: Spike the Punch

Have you tried out any spring trends yet? Also, I’m dying over my first shellac manicure!

Bib Collar

I received this necklace from Oasap right after Women’s Wear Daily stated that collars are currently a big trend. Perfect timing! I really love this collar in particular because it’s completely made of pearls which is something that I haven’t seen before. My first thought was to wear it with a shirt that goes up to my neck so that it looks like an actual collar, but I like how it looks like a ‘floating’ collar instead. I then paired it with two of my current staples, a blazer and colored jeans (which I have way too many pairs of!)

Necklace: c/o Oasap

Blazer: H&M (similar)

Shirt: Old Navy (similar)

Jeans: TJ Maxx (similar)

Shoes: Missoni for Target (similar heel)

What do you think of the collar trend?

Wednesday’s Cravings

Here are some of the items that I’m craving this week after looking around online and on pinterest. My favorite is definitely the Chloe shoes….now only if that fit in my budget!

Peplum

At first I wasn’t so sure about the peplum trend, but the more I kept seeing it the more I fell in love. There are a variety of different ways to wear it from skirts to tops and it’s actually more flattering than you may think. I see this trend sticking around for a while!
