Paper Crown Party at Clothes Hound

One of my favorite stores in Raleigh is Clothes Hound. They carry items from Gentle Fawn, C. Luce, and Paper Crown (just to name a few) and everyone that works there is so friendly. Last week they invited me to a party to preview the holiday line for Lauren Conrad’s new line of clothing called Paper Crown, and I wasn’t disappointed. I love the lace in both the dress and shirt below.

Monet Lace Dress-perfect for a holiday party!

Blake Top

I didn’t come home with any Paper Crown items this time, but I did purchase this amazing gold chain necklace.

What do you think of Paper’s Crown’s holiday line? Make sure you check out Clothes Hound’s website or their store if you haven’t yet!

The Cape Coat

The Cape Coat

One trend that I am swooning over lately is the cape coat. I love that
it is different than a regular pea coat, and personally my favorite is cape #1
from Nordstrom. I actually ordered it today and will post pictures of it later
once I receive it. Which is your favorite? Will you be wearing a cape coat
during the fall and winter?

Glitter Nail

I love painting my ring finger different from the rest of my nails using either glitter nail polish or nail strips. I found Sally Hansen salon effect strips which I love, but one tip is when you open the pack you have to use them all. If you try to use the rest of the pack later on you will find that they are no longer sticky. One advantage to the nail strips is that they can last up to two weeks.

I love the end result with the pink next to the multi-color glitter. Another color combination I love is emerald green and gold.

What color combinations have you tried?
