Layered Necklaces

This is one of my favorite outfits that I’ve been wearing lately! This jumpsuit from Old Navy is so comfortable and fits me perfectly, which is definitely a hard thing to find when you’re only 5’1″. I love that it’s a v-neck because it pairs so well with these layered necklaces from Happiness Boutique. These necklaces have been on major repeat ever since I received them in the mail recently, and I love how fun they are. They are all separate necklaces so I can either wear all three together, or mix and match them. I’ve definitely been drawn to delicate necklaces like these lately, and you can use the code headtotoechicblog for 10% off of your order!

What do you think of layered necklaces?

Tuesday’s Cravings: Postpartum Hair Must Haves

Tuesday's Cravings: Postpartum Hair Must Haves

In today’s post I wanted to showcase some must have items for postpartum hair! I experienced a lot of postpartum hair loss and my hair has been so different ever since giving birth to Charlotte. Here are my favorite products that have really helped:

The number one product that really helped me is the OGX thick & full + biotin and collagen shampoo. As soon as I started using this shampoo I noticed that my hair wasn’t falling out as much which was a huge win. I’ve been using this shampoo for over a year now, and I’ve noticed that it has helped my hair become a lot fuller!

I also started using the Living Proof volume blast which helped bring some life to my hair again when it was looking pretty thin. I just spray it on my hair when it’s dry and work it in with my fingers. It also smells amazing which is a huge bonus.

Living Proof also has the best dry shampoo hands down! I’ve tried dozens of dry shampoos and I feel like this one actually cleans my hair when I use it. I’m trying to take better care of my hair which means not washing it so much, so this dry shampoo helps a lot.

I use this Kristen Ess flat iron, which is way better than any others that I have tried. On the days that I do use this flat iron, I make sure to use the Living Proof restore spray which helps condition my hair and also protects it against the heat.

The last product I love are these invisibobble hair ties! They help keep my hair from breaking like it does with normal hair ties, and they don’t leave a crease!

New Makeup Finds

I’m always on the lookout for new makeup to try and to add to my makeup routine! I did some shopping at Ulta recently and here’s what I picked up:

I purchased the Lancôme mascara primer and It Cosmetics superhero mascara and I am seriously obsessed. This combination has completely changed the way that my lashes look, and so many people have asked me if my lashes are real when I wear this duo. I can’t recommend it more!

When it comes to eyeshadow, I had just stopped wearing it all together because I could never find one that I loved. After someone told me about Morphe, I decided to check out their products and I was so pleasantly surprised. I love the vibrant colors, how long the eyeshadow lasts, and that this giant palette only has a price tag of $19!

I really love matte lipsticks and my cousin let me try this one from Too Faced for my sister’s wedding. I really like the color and that it’s more affordable than the Kylie lip kit.

I had been using the same blush for years, and then they stopped making it. I was so bummed because it was seriously the perfect color! I spotted this one from Milani and it is so good. I love the color, the shimmer, and that it’s under $10.

I’ve been having more girls nights lately, and I absolutely love it! It’s even better when we are able to have a girls night in vs. having to go out somewhere. Today I wanted to share my essentials for having the perfect girls night at home:

1. Pizza

Having good food is key when having a girls night! Lately I’ve been reaching for Freschetta pizza that I pick up from Publix. If I ever run into you, just be prepared that I will go on and on about my love for Publix. I’m so glad that Publix has a great selection of Freschetta pizza because it is a scratch-made pizza with freshly shredded mozzarella cheese, vine-ripened tomatoes and premium meats and vegetables, all on top of flavorful sauces and a preservative-free crust which I really love. We had a girls night last week and I picked up the Naturally Rising Supreme, Naturally Rising Four Cheese, and Gluten Free Pepperoni for all of us. I love that I was able to get a gluten free pizza for my sister and for Sam that is certified by the National Celiac Association, and that is also is crafted with 100% real cheese, flavorful sauce and a flaky crust. Also, all Freschetta Gluten Free pizza crusts are preservative free.

When it comes to the Freschetta Naturally Rising Crust Pizza, it is made with no chemical leaveners. Which means the dough rises using real yeast, and it is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. That’s definitely the kind of crust that I like best. Everyone absolutely loved the pizzas and I can’t wait to get them again for our next girls night! Right now you can save $1.50 on any ONE (1) Freschetta® Pizza, Valid 5/1/19-5/29/19. Be sure to clip the coupon by clicking on the frozen food filter.

2. Good friends

Ever since having Charlotte, I’ve realized that having a good group of friends is key! It’s so important to have friends to spend quality time with, to be able to talk to about anything, and to have fun with of course. I always have such a good time with these girls, and having this time with them truly makes me a better Mom to Charlotte.

3. Wine

Having a good glass of wine with dinner is essential for a girls night. Now that the weather has been a lot warmer, we have all been reaching for rosé which paired so well with all of the different pizzas.

4. The perfect binge worthy show

I love finding a good show to binge watch, and having the perfect show is definitely necessary for a girls night! I always like to watch something that I know my husband wouldn’t normally watch with me.
